The hotel went beyond our expectations: you wouldn’t give it anything from the exterior, however it is quite delightful once inside. Buffet savoury breakfast was astonishing and full of local dishes; the room was nice and even with a balcony. In the morning a pleasant incense smell runs across the floors as the ladies clean and this isna curious detail. The reception is always open, the staff is nice and they (almost) all speak at least English. Regarding the position, you have a tram stop right in front of the hotel with also a big supermarket there for any need. The breakfast room is on the sixth floor with a nice terrace: it was snowing, of course we didn’t use it, but it should be cool 🆒

The hotel is a 25-30 minute walk from the main square in Bucharest (Piata Unirii) - head for the corner of the square with a KFC on the corner; keep the KFC and New Yorker store on your right and follow the road up and along for 1.5km or so). There is a tram line along the road too with a few bakeries, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy along the way. The hotel is very stylish and immaculately clean. Staff members were friendly and approachable. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a small balcony in the room. The breakfast is more traditionally Romanian as opposed to the usual 'continental' type. Would happily stay in the hotel again.

Excellent service, staff is very friendly, available at the reception area. I had to leave for my flight at 5am and there was someone helpful available for check out even then. Room is very clean, perfect for a restful sleep. Beds are comfortable. Location is excellent, very close to the old town so that I could walk there and enjoy the vibe of the city. Wifi available, TV, air conditioning, toiletries. Good value for money.

We were really surprised by the quality of the room for the price we paid. The room was modern, clean, ideally sized for 2 people. The bathroom was spacious, well equipped. Unfortunately the hairdryer didn't work. On top of that we had a small balcony. The service at the reception was friendly and it was no problem to speak English. There was also sufficient wifi connection.

Good breakfast, many options. Good location. Very good hotel for when you need a place to sleep and have a breakfast when on business in Bucharest, especially so close to the city centre. I was very pleasantly surprised by the low price and good services. In a world full of unnecessarily expensive AirBnbs, this was a breath of fresh air.
